We start with your stories and memories about your loved one, which opens a connection between your loved one and me. I will then create a realistic portrait that allows your loved one’s presence to shine through.

This process is designed for anyone that would like to learn how to create a realistic portrait using oil paints. Through my guidance, you will become proficient with oil paints, establish a committed art process, and experience the personal growth that comes from the power of art.

Teaching / Coaching

I have been an art teacher for over 15 years, working with students of all ages, and absolutely love teaching. I have recently finished a facilitating/coaching course and ordained as a Zen monk, which in some way has brought many of the aspects of my life together. My practice as a teacher, monk, artist, and coach are all embedded in my meditation practice. In meditation, I realize; through art, I manifest. When I teach art, coaching personal growth is an integral part, due to the personal realizations a student experiences when deeply encountering an art process. Lets work together to fully realize your artistic purpose.
